Peter Sebastian, D.O.

Dr. Sebastian grew up in Leesport, PA. He attended Muhlenberg College, earning a BS in Natural Science and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to become a Doctor of Osteopathy. Following a neurology internship at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Sebastian completed a neurology residency and a neurophysiology fellowship at the  University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Dr. Sebastian practiced general adult neurology in Salisbury, Maryland from 1983-93.  He co-founded Salisbury Musculoskeletal Clinic with Blaise Lavorgna, D.C. and Joseph Cascino, P.T. in order to provide an interdisciplinary approach to non-surgical musculoskeletal problems. Dr. Sebastian's interests include golf, gardening, Qigong and martial arts.

Richard Horsey, M.P.T.

Richard Horsey is an Eastern shore native who attended Salisbury State College in 1983 for premed studies. He briefly worked in environmental consulting before returning to Physical Therapy School at University of Maryland. He started with the brain injury population however quickly transitioned to a musculoskeletal focus. He completed extensive coursework with Michigan State school of osteopathic medicine and utilizes many manual therapy types to address acute and chronic dysfunctions. In 2004 he joined Salisbury Musculoskeletal Clinic. In 2017 he introduced visceral evaluation and manipulation from the Barral Institute to address the influences of the internal anatomy on the musculoskeletal system. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, diving, and skiing with his family. Richard sees patients daily in Salisbury.

Adam Moyer, D.C.

Dr. Moyer has been practicing at Salisbury Musculoskeletal Clinic since 2007. He graduated from Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly New York Chiropractic College) after completing a bachelor's degree in environmental science from the University of Vermont. Dr. Moyer completed a radiology internship at Clifton Springs Hospital and served as a chiropractic intern at the Seneca Falls Health Center and the VA hospital in Rochester, NY.  Dr. Moyer has completed coursework with the Institute for Function Medicine and a year-long mentorship program with the Kalish Institute for Functional Medicine. Outside of the office, Dr. Moyer enjoys a busy family life.  He is an avid skier (water and snow), snowboarder, triathlete, surfer, and ice hockey player.  

William J. Nelson, D.C.

Dr. Nelson started out his formal education as an art major. In an effort to increase his figure drawing skills, he took an anatomy class and discovered his interest in the mechanics of the human body. After earning his Associate Degree in art, he was accepted into the University of Rhode Island’s competitive Kinesiology and Exercise Science program. After graduation Dr. Nelson became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach and worked with professional athletes, firefighters, EMTs, active seniors and developmentally disabled people. Soon he realized that he was passionate about diagnosing his patients in addition to providing care and pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree through New York Chiropractic College in upstate New York. After graduation he joined the team at SMC where he treats patients with a variety of complaints. Dr. Nelson enjoys life on Delmarva and can be seen kiteboarding off Assateague on windy days.

Kiara Rivera, D.C.

Dr. Rivera was born and raised on the sunny beaches of San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Her first language is Spanish. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico and received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Port Orange Florida campus. Dr. Rivera was the recipient of the Clinical Excellence award from her class at graduation. She loves adjusting her patients using diversified, Thompson, Flexion/distraction, and activator techniques.

Edward M. Jordan, M.P.T

Edward Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science from Salisbury State College in 1980.  He completed a Master's of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 1997.

He specializes in the treatment of muscular and skeletal dysfunction and injury utilizing osteopathic manual medicine techniques.

He is trained in techniques from the Postural Restoration Institute to correct muscular and skeletal imbalances.

James J. Murphy, P.T.A

J.J. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore as well as an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from Anne Arundel Community College.  He completed his internship at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital before joining the Salisbury Musculoskeletal Clinic team.
